The store of video games from the author of Fallout will accept cryptocurrency

CEO of studio inXile Entertainment Bryan Fargo, one of the creators of the cult games Fallout, Wasteland and Baldur’s Gate, announced the opening of the Robot Cache platform for the distribution of video games. As reported by “Igromania”, the calculations in the store will be made by its own IRON cryptocurrency.

According to the publication, the IRON cryptocurrency is based on the ERC-20 standard from Ethereum. It can be directly “nakraft”, buy tokens or sell on Robot Cache completely passed games. However, you can resell only the products purchased on the Robot Cache platform. The user can spend the received cryptocurrency on games or exchange for fiat money.

Bryan Fargo intends to attract developers and publishers of video games advantageous terms. For example, application creators will receive 95% of the cost of projects when they are bought for the first time. In the case of resale, developers will receive up to 70% of the original price.

It is expected that the launch of the Robot Cache platform will take place this spring. The first IRON tokens will be available later this week.
