OKCoin CEO Hints at China Cooperation In Leaked Chat


The CEO of Chinese bitcoin exchange OKCoin Old Xu, a total WeChat group announced to its employees that has informed the head of the people’s Bank of China about the expansion of the organization abroad and research blockchain technology. It is reported by CoinDesk.

In the context of a press conference of the head of the Central Bank, which last touched on the subject of cryptocurrencies, Old Xu said that the company is ready “to put it at the disposal of the authorities.” However, it remains unclear whether he had in mind the whole cryptocurrency business OKCoin or only the results of the research.

As notes the edition, the organization has confirmed the authenticity of the group and the fact that the Old Xu had written to its employees about the negotiations with the Central Bank.
