Three armed men entered the office of the Canadian Bitcoins stock exchange in Ottawa on Tuesday morning, where four employees were tied up, simultaneously hitting one of them with a gun on the head. After that they tried to force one of the employees to send the outgoing transaction from the stock exchange account. Another employee, who managed to stay unnoticed, was able to contact the police before the attackers seized the assets of the exchange, told law enforcement.

One of the suspects was detained. He was a 19-year-old resident of Ottawa. He has already been charged with attempted armed robbery and forced deprivation of liberty.
